How we make your day special
It begins with getting to know each other and listening to your ideas. We will start to create a detailed plan of the whole day with a personalised plan that we will add to and refine as we move forward together.
We will share our Head Chef’s latest menus with you and invite you to join us to sample your food and beverage choices before confirming your menu.
On the day we will provide the fabulous food, drink and service that makes us a leading wedding caterer so you can enjoy your special day.

We will explore ways to deliver that something extra through incredible food stalls, creative sharing platters, eye-catching displays of serve-yourself desserts or by bringing something different to tempt your guests later in the evening.

Your wedding food & drink planning journey
01 Let's get started
Once you have confirmed you would like to go ahead with Kalm Kitchen, our dedicated planning team will be your guide in the lead up to the big day.
02 Discovery session
This is your initial planning meeting; an opportunity for you to discuss your plans with us and for us to answer any questions you may have. Have a think about what you might have in mind for your menu, drinks, timeline, table set-up and styling. We will also create ‘Your Wedding Plan’ - a bespoke wedding planner created just for you, which we will build on and refer to throughout the planning journey.
03 Your tasting experience
Following your Discovery Session, you will be invited to book in your tasting experience. Beforehand, we’ll ask you to choose your sample menu, that our amazing kitchen team will showcase at our HQ in Puttenham, Surrey. You will have an opportunity to speak with our head chefs about your menu. You can also take a look at our tableware samples to help inspire your perfect tablescape.
04 After the tasting experience
Once you have had some time to mull over your menu, we’ll ask you to share your thoughts and your preliminary menu choices. We will then get a Details Session (final planning meeting) booked in, and ask you to complete a Details Form with all the information we will need ahead of your day.
05 Details session
Four to five weeks ahead of the day, we will have a final planning meeting to go through the fine details of the day. We will then create the final version of Your Wedding Plan for you to check you’re happy with and sign off. Your final invoice and our preparations will be based on this. You can make any amendments up until three week prior to your day.
06 Your Wedding day
At this point, you can leave it all to us. We’ll take over with our meticulous attention to detail. We plan for every eventuality, so that you can simply enjoy the day, knowing that everything is in safe hands.

What areas do you cover?
We can be wherever your event is in the UK, and our preparation kitchen, warehouse and headquarters are based just outside of London in Puttenham, Surrey.
So, whether it’s Glastonbury festival glamping, a marquee marriage on a farm or a product launch in a city skyscraper, we’re there for you.
What information do I need before I make an enquiry?
When and where is a good start, but we are happy to talk and build a profile of your event together.
Is everything included in your prices?
Yes! We know planning an event or a wedding can be hugely complicated and it’s easy for surprise costs to come up that aren’t welcome.
We’ve tried to make everything simple and clear when it comes to our menus and prices. In our menus, you’ll have a very clear guide as to what’s included and what additional experiences and services are extra if you want to personalise your event further.
And of course, our team will be on hand throughout, so there are never any surprises.
Can you accommodate guests with dietary requirements or allergies?
Our team of professional chefs and event managers are all trained in allergens and where we are made aware of an allergy or food intolerance we take care to cater for them. However, we use all known allergens in our production and venue kitchens and cannot guarantee that our food is free from any known allergen, so please inform us of any allergies or intolerances during the planning process.

Do I have to use a recommended venue?
We partner with many beautiful venues as well as catering in marquees, private homes and gardens, offices and showrooms, festivals and exhibition sites. If you have chosen a venue that is not on our list, let us know as many venues are flexible.
