B Corp
Talk to us
Becoming a B Corp means we’ve met high standards of social and environmental performance, transparency and accountability. It reflects values we’ve always held close. How we work matters just as much as what we create. We are proud to be using business as a force for good.
What is B Corp
Making the right choices
Since Kalm Kitchen was established in 2008 our founders, Jen and James, have been guided by strong morals and a desire to do things the right way.
Being a B Corp in the UK means using our business as a force for good is enshrined in law. We have made a binding commitment to put social and environmental goals front and centre in the decisions we take.
We are committed to reducing our environmental impact, be it through minimising food waste or selecting only like-minded companies to work with in our supply chain. For example, our partnership with Wine & Earth helps us source delicious small-batch organic and biodynamic wine from a Guildford-based company that works with ethically-minded vineyards.

What commitments have we made?
Our Code of Ethics
Meeting the exacting standards required to earn B Corp certification is a complex process, building on years of work. Having the biggest impact we can is a team effort and for the team to really get on board, they needed to buy into the process.
Our team collaborated create our Code of Ethics, which forms the foundation of our values and the guiding principles, serving as a constant reminder of the commitments we have made. It really helps bring what we do and the way we do it into focus so we can refine what we do.
