Milli and Tom

Who: Milli and Tom | When: September 2018 | Where: Bignor Park

Bignor Park in West Sussex was the setting for Milli and Tom’s country classic wedding. And despite taking place at the end of the summer, this stylish celebration was bathed in beautiful sunshine. Dotted with elegant styling details, the day was influenced by the country setting, but also featured a nod to the couple’s city roots with an elegant London twist.

The bride and groom put every effort into making this a memorable experience for their guests, and that included the menu. To reflect the couple’s family backgrounds and travel adventures together, Kalm Kitchen was challenged to come up with some new, fusion themed food concepts.

The Asian-infused menu – featuring flavour-packed canapés and a Miso-glazed main – was both delicious and detail-orientated. Even the drinks matched the theme with shots of Filipino citrus spirit, and Japanese sweet plum wine for the speeches. A towering Croquembouche by Ellie from Milk Street Kitchen proved a show-stopping hit, while a bespoke styled evening bar, called ‘Balonzo’s bar’ served up personalised cocktails.

Overall this was a truly beautiful day: delicious food, thoughtful details and even the sunshine joined the celebrations.
